Making money online with a blog is probably the easiest way to make money online for newbies. All you have to do is to start a blog on wordpress.com or at blogger.com and start blogging. It’s even better to buy a domain name of your own and start your blog in it. Because that way you are not depended in someone else and you can do whatever you want with your blog.
As time goes, the remote hosted blog providers are not allowing affiliate links in their blogs, and that can hurt you as an affiliate marketer. If you are blogging for for, it’s a good idea to get those blogs from wordpress or blogger.com.
If yopu have never installed a blog on your own, here are the steps to help you do it in a breeze.
Wordpress or blogger.com blog – First head up to one of those sites:
Next you’ll have to choose a subdomain for your blog. a subdomain is the address of your future blog. Try to find something short as people need to find you using that address. It is recommended to choose a subdomain that contains the keywords of your niche.
After you got your blog up and runing, simply start by choosing the categories for what you want to write about. Next you will need to create your first post, be sure to take the time to create a great post as your first one. It will give you a good start for your new blog, and after that you’ll be able t make money from your blog.
For the self hosted solution, the proccess is almost the same. The only thing that is different in the self hosted blog is that you should install it by yourself. It’s really easy to install a wordpress blog if you know how to do it. When you download wordpress you will get a file with the installation instructions. If you still don’t have a domain name of your own, or you don’t know how to install a wordpress blog on your own server, I believe I posted a detailed post about it, so search for it.
