If you want your membership site to be successful you have to ask people what they want to have, get, own. You can do it by visiting some forums who are related to your niche market. If you have a small list than you can ask them by email. Don’t get me wrong here, you don’t need to have 1000 subscribers to ask them a question. You can even have 70 people on your list and still make a good survey.
2. Create it as fast as you can – Trends are coming and going all the time. If you find a hot market who wants something NOW, than you should create it NOW. You should deliver what they want when they need it, unless you create your membership site fast you can expect to lose a lot of customers. Hitting the steel while it’s hot is the best way to produce it.
3. Always over deliver – Having a membership is something that even a 7 years old child can do. The problem starts when your members are leaving your membership site after the first month, and that’s sad. Having a successful membership site depends on the way you deliver the stuff. You have to over deliver if you want people to stay in your membership, and not only buy the thing right now and cancel their subscription.
