Well, you are not alone. Most of the newbies to Internet marketing think that they can just write an article about any topic that comes to their mind and they will make money online in a snap. That’s absolutely not the case in the real life. If you want to make money online from your articles you have to write what people want to know, and not what you want to say.
a good friend of mine started Internet marketing 3 years ago. One day he came to me and cried that he spent over 18 days to create 67 articles about one niche that if my memory is not misleading me was the dating niche. He submitted his articles for 2 days writing a special resource box for every chunk of articles to test what’s the best approach to that niche. You’ll be surprised that from all those articles, from all that hours of working he made only two sales for a period of 6 months.
Why do I tell you this story?
Because I want you to understand that the quality is more important than the quantity. You can produce one thousand article for ONE niche but there will still be a chance that you’ll not get a single sale. Well, maybe one but not more 
The thing is, you have to make a proper keyword research for your articles. When you’re producing articles about what you have to teach others that great, but it will not make you money. You need to look for search terms people type on search engines and create your article upon those search terms. We all know that if someone who is looking for quality content to learn something, and you lay it all down for him on the table with a good presell, you have a very high chance to make a sale from that person.
Create Your Content With The Best Quality You Can And The Sales Will Follow You Wherever You Go
That’s for sure. When you create a high quality peace of content, let it be an article, a sales page, or even a press release. When you put yourself into it and give your best, your results will be the same. When someone is reading the content you have created he has two options.
Option one : He will ask himself who is the crazy man who wrote this article and close the page. In some cases he will even remember the website name just to make sure not to come back to it. People hate invaluable content, and from the other hand, they will always get back to a reliable and valuable content.
Option two : The reader will be very impressed from your knowledge. He will feel like he knows you for years if you only know how to create that feeling in your writing. He will also be sure that you are an expert in your field and will probably check to see what else you have to offer and who are you from a deeper angle. When you reach to that stage with someone, that’s a 75% to get a sale out of him. Of course the sale can be made in all kinds of ways like from your resource box if it’s an article, an email campaign if you’re promoting an opt-in page, and all kinds of other ways you have in mind.
As you can see, creating unique content is crucial for your online success, and if you want to make money online, be sure to produce good content and your readers will reward you for it.
